Not your average Sauvignon Blanc, this wine balances the intense fruits of many New Zealand wines with the restrained mineral acidity of the traditional French style. Sourced from the cool climate Aude Valley in the south of France, the wine retains its varietal character, acidity and freshness.
Rich and lifted with intense scents of fruit mingled with varietal aromas of gooseberries and passionfruit. The limestone soil has imparted floral nuances and a flint like “river stone” scent. The palate is fresh and pure with rich flavours balanced by delicate mineral acidity.

From the unyielding plains of Castilla la Mancha comes this aromatic and textural white wine. The blend of Spanish native varietals Macabeo, Viura and Verdejo with just a dash of Sauvignon Blanc results in a uniquely Spanish wine.
Pale and fresh with a delicate green tint. The aromas are restrained but enticing with subtle stone fruit and citrus. The palate follows the theme with originally delicate mineral and stone flavours building to a textural mid palate that is mouth coating and persistent. Fine natural acidity provides length and finesse.

"Very pale in colour with pristine clarity and a fine bead. The nose is delicate and fresh with fruit driven floral aromas and bready complexity. The palate is likewise pure and crisp with chardonnay-inspired apple and citrus flavours followed by a long mineral finish. A refreshing and high quality aperitif style."
Madame Coco is made exclusively from white wine grapes. Chardonnay is over 80% of the blend and gives a core of pristine fruit, length and depth of flavour. Smaller amounts of Chenin Blanc and the indigenous Mauzac provide elegance and mineral acidity.

Whilst this wine has the potential to develop with short term bottle maturation it is drinking beautifully now.
